our Top three Experiences thus far!
#1 - Synchronous Firefly Event
It is nearly impossible to describe the beauty and uniqueness of the Synchronous Firefly Event that happens each year in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. However, we did our best to explain it in the post below. This is still our top experience in our journeys thus far!
#2 - Meow Wolf
This is by far our top artistic / creative experience to date. Our most memorable moments are typically nature related, but Meow Wolf exceeded all expectations and is something we rave about whenever we get the chance. Our rave review is included in the following post.
#3 - Elk Rutt
Like the Synchronous Firefly Event, we’ve been lucky enough to experience the Elk Rutt in Rocky Mountain National Park twice. Each time was different, but equally incredible.
This is still our second favorite nature experience, but it sits at third overall.
Will any of the above get bumped from their current ranking? We don’t know…but we’ll post here if they do!

Get ready for a bit of excitement, in combination with considerable amount of disappointment if you are hoping to see pictures and/or video of our top event. The truth is, that this event cannot be captured in video or photography; at least to the best of our knowledge!
